What is the return on corporate storytelling?

Return on investment

A company story is made up of a myriad of different stories. Your corporate story will be successful if your employees and customers become true story ambassadors. This means that everyone needs to know where their company is heading, what it stands for, what it aims to be and how it intends to get there. You have to be able to experience it in order to share it with others. That is why we work with three inspiring story experiences in our workshops: > The personal story > The company story > The industry or community story. The story wields massive power as an informative, inspiring and galvanising communication tool, but it is still undervalued in the corporate and public sectors. Yet, there is hardly a communication tool more penetrating than the one with which people are familiar from their childhood: the story.

Consistent use of storytelling yields returns at a number of levels:

  • personal growth of talent within the organisation
  • more loyalty from employees as well as customers
  • a network of story ambassadors
  • enhanced reputation with a positive impact on the employment market and top talent
  • steady build-up of active followers on social media platforms
  • increased traffic and interest in the web environment
  • interactive and personal sales approaches
